10 reasons I don't believe in Allah

1. Threats and bribes are not worthy of a Supreme Being.
2. His final message to me was unintelligible - I don't speak classical Arabic.
3. I can't appreciate the only "miracle" in Islam - see #2
4. His Heaven seems too much like a man's sexual fantasy.
5. His Hell seems too much like a sadist's fantasy.
6. His explanation of creation makes no sense.
7. The punishments he wants us to inflict on each other are both cruel and counter-productive.
8. He thinks women should be subservient to men. (when it should obviously be the other way round - just ask my wife...)
9. He can't cope with LGBT issues.
10. His "tests" (such as making some of us disabled, some of us poor, some of us victims of abuse, some of us prey to the most appalling diseases, some of us gay) seem to be unfairly distributed. Why is a child in sub-Saharan Africa "tested" with malnutrition, disease, civil war, Aids, losing her parents.. whilst I have it easy?

  1. Your test my friend may be different but it is just as hard. How to reach God when you have all that you require. That is more difficult than the African child's test you mention.Peace

  2. And how exactly is the African child being tested, Anon? If she fails to see God in the malaria bearing mosquito biting her brother, or in the machete wielding war-lord who deprived her of her parents, does she fail and go to hell?
At least when I get roasted, I'll have had a good life. What will she have had?

    1. Allah was a moon god who was being worshiped before muslims.Lunar calender being followed by muslims linked to moon god. That is why you look at the sky pray for his mercy and more over look down to earth when talk about hell. any explanation?? Myth is always hard to believe and all violent acts and punishment cited in holy books resembles with arabian desert culture not a culture belive in peace and harmony

  4. Re 7 Are the punishments we inflict on each other like prison better? Surely the swift punishment of amputation is better than rotting away in prison? And as Azim, says - who are we to question, Allah - who is infinite in his wisdom.

    1. Anon, I was being cynical when I said "who are we to question Allah." We must question everything otherwise we could end up believing anything.

Amputation is not swift punishment. You have to live the rest of your life disabled. You are severely disadvantaged for the rest of your life. You cannot work, you can support yourself or your family. Basically you become dependant on society and family, and if you don't get that support, you usually become outcast with a totally wasted life.

Prison however seeks to rehabilitate and educate whilst punishing though providing you with full human rights. You can turn your life around and come out a whole person start over again and contribute to society. Something you cannot do as an amputee.

  5. Allah is the one who created this world ... And let me tell you my friend I'll meet you on the day of judgement and I'll ask you now why didn't you believe in Allah... I'll tell you the problems... Christianity is not a true religion because jesus who christians believe is god is a prophet in islam... Hinduism not true because they have so many gods, because one day one will say let it rain in this place then one will say let it be sunny in this place .. The beauty of islam is one Allah who make it rain and makes the sun come out.. And it is mentioned in the quran "if there were two gods there would be a chaos" ... Now you tell me who are you to question islam.. And please I'm telling you , you are cursed in front of Allah and you will be punished

    1. You say that Christianity is not true because in Islam Jesus is only a prophet? You make no sense. Of course they are different from you. They are Christian. Saying they are different from you does not make their claim false.

  6. we wont say any1 is cursed and will be in hell, for that Allah will determine...we r just warners that u must believe in 1 god the 1 that created everything, and do good deeds and u will get ur reward...its 4 u 2 decide

  7. Who do you believe in then? If it's jesus or your christian god maybe, why hasn't he done anything about this, life is a test, i can tell you if allah gave an answer to all this then you wouldn't dare to speak.

    1. I don't believe in anyone, Anon.
You're comment regarding my "not daring to speak" sums up pretty neatly why.

Do you have any reasons for believing or is it just blind faith and upbringing?

  10. it's just fairy tale's, old story's

    ReplyDelete
  11. I agree its all just fairy tales. Let me explain logically.
Human INVENTED god in the very beginning when he was in the stone age as a cave man because he couldn't explain many things around him logically and rationally. when he saw lightening in the sky, he immediately invented god for causing this to quench his otherwise unsatisfiable curiosity. When he saw sun, he invented another god for causing this. This way he invented several hundreds of gods just to explain the unexplainable at that time. But as time passed and human thinking became more and more rational, he began to come up with logical and scientific reasons for things around him that made more sense, hence his dependency on gods decreased causing a significant drop in number of gods. Now we are down to one or no gods. Do you see a pattern here? I do. With increasing rationality, the number of gods decrease and mathematically this can be expressed as rationality is inversely proportional to no of gods hence absolute rationality means zero gods. But since achieving absoluteness in anything including rationality is very difficult and require atleast some in built IQ, people are always remained with some small probability of god in their minds. But if a persons mind becomes absolute in rationality he would always find ANY religion absurd. BTW I was a devout muslim a few years back that was until I chose to open the parachute of my mind to actually know myself. People would say I must have lost the purpose of my life but infact Now I have even a stronger purpose of life than before because now I know that what I do will make a difference with humanity and not waste my time thinking about hereafter as there isn't gonna be any. Good luck.

    1. Really sure you were actually devout? Don't real devout Muslims keep the possibility that they may be not, thus avoiding so, instead of being overconfidently self-righteous?

Really sure that the "logical explanation" wasn't another story crafted to fit a preconceived assumption? A "logical story of the gaps"? Computers are logical, but if you put in incomplete or false data, the computation could go bonkers.

Really think that the limited scope of the delusion-capable human mind could reach Allah (swt) wihout His help? No questioning on why the Creator of the universe, along with its logical rules, should be limited by His creation?

Perhaps you nees to open another parachute. Ask Him for evidence? And if there are standards that dictate what's enough as evidence and what isn't, open another parachute by questioning them

  12. I don't believe that ALLAH exists

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects.

Suddenly, they touched the subject of ALLAH. The barber said : "Look man, I don't believe that ALLAH exists as you say so." "Why do you say that?" Asked the client. Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that ALLAH does not exist. Oh, tell me, if ALLAH existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If ALLAH existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of a ALLAH who permits all of these things." The client stopped for a moment thinking but he didn't want to respond so as to prevent an argument.

The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with a long hair and beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut and he looked so untidy). Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber : " know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How come they don't exist?"-asked the barber. "Well I am here and I am a barber." "No!" - the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and beard like that man who walks in the street."

"Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the client. "That's the point. ALLAH does exist, what happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him that's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

  13. This is MY VIEW on religion.
    It's really stupid.
People say religion is a way to teach believers in humanity, but all i see now is religion fighting with the other religion. Where's the humanity in that? The world would be VERY peaceful if there was NO religion AT ALL. Think about it... without the fighting and wars in countries, everyone having the same ideal about life... I would so love to live in that kind of world.
But i guess i shouldnt get my hope that high

  14. Christianity is certainly a true religion and Jesus Christ is the way ,the truth and the life. The Gospel were written 45AD - 70AD and are authentic. Many miracles were perform by our Lord. All other religions are based upon the accounts given by infallible humans. Jesus is both true God and true man. The Gospel chronicle the life and teachings of Jesus, within them you will find only love, peace, unity, humility, inclusion and acceptance of ALL peoples.

  16. The example u gave about the barber isnt its enough for you people. Poor people exist with thier fate... allah has granted them alot of things that even we rich people dnt have... we rich people buy an expensive car, and in an accident it get completly destroyed what do u result in? Depression of money either u buy a new car or spend double money on the car do u think poor people have these tension... if poor are suffering so are the rich ones... and u knw what poor people are a blessing for us as we help them allah grants us more. Dont rich people suffer from malaria or any other desease. Rich people suivide so do poor.... its not about why do rich n poor exist... every one came in this world for a reason that is praising allah... u will never have the feeling if satisfaction that i feel while salah. U think women are always bieng let down by men... the men who disobey women are not following islam... u say women have too be in the house bla bla in islam women cnt shiw thier face bla bla do u knw the actual reason... dont ever be judgmental... example i through two candies on the floor one candy has its rapper on and on is without its rapper... which one will u eat? Why fo have products like sun screen and sun protection serums for hair why do have we have it because our beauty gets destroyed that is the reason we women instead of using chemicals simply cover our face... islam is about justice. I dnt disrespect ur religioun but please dnt disreapect mine
